Ultimate Puppy Bytes™ are a great new supplement to the Ultimate Puppy Toolkit™ that will keep you a step ahead while raising your puppy.

UP Bytes™, which you will receive by email Monday thru Friday, provide you with a timely reminder/tip related to the 5 essential subject areas of puppy raising. They cover the critical 9-week period between 8 and 16 weeks of age, starting when you bring your pup home. This is the decisive window of opportunity during which very high priority socialization activities must be completed with your puppy.

UP Bytes™ will help you stay creative and have fun while you tend to the important issues. When used along with the Ultimate Puppy Toolkit™ they provide a powerful approach to puppy raising.

You will receive a new Puppy Byte email every day, Monday thru Friday, for up to  9-weeks. Puppy Bytes are presented in sequence with each day dedicated to one area of importance.

Here are two Puppy Byte samples:

Week 11
Wednesday - Games

Five Star Service
Feed your puppy with a “Treat Ball”.

Utilizing the Treat Ball turns a boring event (bowl feeding) into exercise, stimulation and appropriate play for your puppy.

Objective
The goal is to put a creative spin on ordinary daily routines.

Tip
In addition to using the Treat Ball don’t use your puppy’s food bowl for a whole week and feed him directly from your hand. This helps build attention and focus on you.

Week 12
Monday - Socialize

Have a Puppy Party
Invite friends over to meet your new puppy. Order pizza in and have some fun!

Teach your puppy to sit each time someone comes to the front door. Play a quick game that you know your puppy will enjoy. Allow your guests to interact with your pup, under your supervision.

Tip
Your puppy should have crate time mixed with short training and social sessions during the course of the puppy party.

Objective
Having a party now will ensure that in the years to come your puppy will be comfortable with the idea of people visiting your home. In addition, if you are consistent at the front door he will learn that the polite way to greet a visitor is by sitting.
